I greatly prefer candid shots of horses versus posed or in a show setting. Not because I cannot do it but more that it is not as fun for me as standing in a field and capturing a look or moment.
Most of the pictures here are my favorites for one reason or another. For most of those with people in them the person is not aware I am taking the photo and I find that more interesting.
The one posed photo goes against my rules - this is one of my favorite photos because of the joy in the faces of both the horse and human.
