This website is a showcase of who I am and what I love to do. It is irreverent, serious and everything in between.

Juggling family, work and everything else is always a challenge but challenging yourself to be a better parent, wife, friend is something important to me.

Within these pages you will find my passions – new and old and I will try to be honest with the good and the bad.

I am one of those people who feeds off of competition, when someone says I cannot I say watch me. When they say it is too hard I say everything is possible.

I went searching for a show dog and ended up with my best friend.

On paper Bumble Bee is perfect, in real life she is even better. When I walked into Bayshore Kennel I was looking for a show dog and promised myself I would not let my heart rule.

I have never been so lucky that my head and heart ended up at the same place. Bumble Bee.

We call her Hannah Montana with fur. She will dazzle you in the show ring and then come home and curl up at your feet. Who needs art on a wall when you have living art on four feet.

Most people have no idea that I planned to be a journalist, life sure can change.

I still like to dabble for fun but once upon a time I actually wrote professionally. I can write a fluff piece and used to format the sport section scores BY HAND (lordy I am making myself feel old). I have even done technical writing

Today I write to make myself happy. I write about things that matter to me

Usually you will find me writing something with a bit of sarcasm (okay maybe a lot of sarcasm) but every once in a while I surprise myself.

I don’t expect everyone to agree with me, I do expect people to think.
